Robo Wars version 1.1
Thanks for trying out Robo Wars 1.1. The installation of this door is much
like any other door. You will need to create a directory for all the files
to reside in. (example: c:\opus\door\robo )
Prior to executing the door you must make your robo wars directory the
current directory. If doing this via a batch file try CD c:\opus\door\robo
then execute robowars.exe Thats about it......
Oh yeah you will need to edit robowars.cnf file to meet your needs.
Robo Wars is a PCBOARD based door game. You must provide a path in the
robowars.cnf file to your PCBOARD.SYS files. This must be a version 14 or
later PCBOARD.SYS file.
Included is a maintenance file that should be run once a day! It cleans
up the HISTORY file and deletes USERS older than 30 days. ps you
must make the robo wars directory current prior to running the
MAINT.EXE program.
Good Luck and dont forget to register if you like the game. You have a
limited 30 day trial period. A registered copy functions no different than
the 30 day demo version but the sysop gets some nice utilities like a player
editor, Maze & Map maker/editor and 1 free update or revision should one be
issued.
After your 30 Day trial period could you please see fit to register your copy
its only 15 dollars and you'll even get utility programs. If you never reg-
istered a door before why not help a starving student and start with this one.
Thanks,
Rick Salinas
